Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to support patient care and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Support patients during therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
- Observe and document patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program and have passed a state-administered national exam to obtain licensure or certification required in the state of Texas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for patient care and rehabilitation services.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting (internship, volunteer, or work experience).
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
